Julia Ghobrial — 5/5 (via Google)
I had to plan a large wedding in NJ from out of state, which was really stressful. Jackie and the whole L&W salon really helped my morning run smoothly. From the beginning, she was quick to respond to emails/calls, and so accommodating. We were a strange party, because we needed to get ready at the salon as well, which is not common. The entire crew was very easy going, and let us use their office to change and store our dresses, which was above and beyond. I wasn't able to come in for a hair/makeup trial, which I was a little worried about. Turns out I was worried for nothing. Candace did my hair, and Paige did my makeup. I really loved both my hair and makeup that day, which was so amazing considering I never had the trial. I also ordered catering from the sickles market downstairs, and they delivered it to us that morning, which was great. Out of all the things I had to keep track of that day, the salon went so effortlessly, and I really loved my hair. It was exactly what I wanted, and kept all day long. The photographer was worried about taking photos when I mentioned we were getting ready at the salon, but once he walked in, was immediately ready to take photos, and actually excited about the way the salon was styled. I can't recommend this crew for your bridal services enough. 10/10!!

Kim Bass, her years of experience at Lambs and Wolves—and her dedication through every step—made my transition to my natural silver-grey color an absolutely incredible experience. After 30 years of coloring my hair I am genuinely amazed by how beautifully she matched my true color. Truly the best colorist ever ! Daryl was an essential part of my transformation too—she is truly the Queen of the Bob! I went from hair down to the middle of my back to a stunning jaw-length bob, and her talent shows in every detail. Thank you, Kim, Daryl, Glenn, and the amazing team of assistants for supporting me through this change. I’m so grateful. XoXo

I’ve been going to Lambs & Wolves for over 10 years. My mother is also a client and is there monthly for her color. When I started going there I went to Cassie who was beyond amazing but at the time was only there on Fridays because she was doing hair for American Idol. (Yes that one) anyway I’ve been to many of their master stylists and have never had a bad haircut. They are constantly learning and growing in the industry and for that I am thankful. I’ve settled in with Kris F who is a hair artist. She brings my thoughts to life and I am complimented all the time on my cut and color. From the amazing artistic design, to the helpful front desk staff, I can’t say enough. I speak for myself and my mom when we say we LOVE LAMBS & WOLVES! 🫶🏼

I rated 4 stars because I don’t want to damage the reputation of a very generous to our Red Bank community business. Not because I was satisfied with my experience. That was in fact such a classic case of a hair nightmare, it is hard to believe that any hair stylist would even ever “go there”. Hair is emotional to many women, as are funerals. My regular hairstylist isn’t available. The beloved 99 year old mother of my beloved and best friend has passed away, her funeral is tomorrow and my hair is 💩I just want to look halfway decent since I will be 70 this summer. Not a miracle. Have had poor, thin hair all of my life, thanks to genetics. This is an emergency appointment at a salon I have never been to. I say my hair needs a trim or shaping but I will happily pay for the full haircut price. I am not here to quibble. I appreciate the last minute appointment. My short hair is wavy/curly naturally, thank goodness because that helps to hide where it’s thinning. I had a lovely massaging shampoo and a complimentary thickening treatment. Only God and Elyse will ever know why she decided to blow out my hair STRAIGHT. So I look up and wonder Who Is That Man In The Mirror? Because I was unrecognizable to myself. I got so upset that I had to leave even though there was a very fair offer to fix it. But I left to find someone who would do what I had ASKED FOR. For crying out loud! I paid. I tipped everyone well because I wanted to leave and find someone to do my hair. The way I kept asking for someone to do it. That’s all. I went to Hair & Co. on White St. They were able to take a walk in. I was really relieved.
